SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers general manager and head coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has assigned C Drew Larman, RW Rob Globke and C Greg Jacina to the Rochester Americans (AHL).
With the moves the Panthers training camp roster now stands at 31 players with two exhibition games remaining. The Cats will take on the Atlanta Thrashers on Wednesday night and the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night at the BankAtlantic Center. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.
Larman, 21, played in three of the Cats preseason games. Last season, Larman scored seven goals with eight assists in 44 games played for the Americans. He also played in eight playoff games for Florida (ECHL) recording four goals and two assists.
Jacina, 24, tallied one assist in three preseason games for the Panthers. Jacina played in 11 games with the Panthers last season, recording one assist. He played in 35 games for Rochester (AHL) last season going 7-4-11 with 152 PIM.
Globke, 24, recorded one assist in three preseason games for the Panthers. Last season, Globke played in 18 games with the Cats recording one goal and six PIM. In 52 games with Rochester (AHL), he had six goals and nine assists.
