Goalie Craig Anderson's knee isn't healing as quickly as hoped, meaning the veteran goalie won't play this weekend with the Rochester Americans.
Anderson sat out the past five games because of a knee ailment. He was hurt in the third period of the Nov. 20 game against Peoria, though he never left the ice that night.
Initial examinations did not reveal a meniscus tear, trainer Kent Weisbeck said, but further tests may be necessary if problems persist.
Anderson has not skated in more than two weeks.
