While the two Amerks' left wingers earned callups, Olesz may have earned his demotion. Drafted seventh overall by the Panthers in 2004, Olesz scored just 1-5-6 in 21 games with the Panthers.
Last season he scored 8-13-21 in 59 games as a rookie and also skated in the 2006 Winter Olympics for the Czech Republic.
Olesz, 21, was to fly into Rochester Sunday night and is scheduled to join the Amerks for practice today. Many scouts would say he is now the most talented player on the Amerks' roster.

It was Swampy’s birthday Saturday, but there was nothing to celebrate as the Florida Everblades lost to the Pensacola Ice Pilots 2-1 in front of nearly 5,700 fans at Germain Arena.
The loss left a sour taste after an otherwise successful five-game homestand that saw the Everblades go 4-1. The loss also ended the Blades’ five-game win streak.
The Ice Pilots (2-9-1) came out hard and physical from the beginning and never let off the pressure.
The Breeze doesn't publish on Sunday, so they are always a little behind on their weekend game recaps.
