Former Buffalo Sabre and current Vancouver Cannuck defenseman Rory Fitzpatrick gained and lost some ground in the All-Star voting in the results released on Monday.
Fitzpatrick fell to sixth overall in the standings, but picked up a big gain in overall votes. He now trails Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings by 101,989 for the second and final starting spot for the January 24th All-Star game in Dallas.
The gap was closed by over 70K votes this last week.
