"What color is Turple?"
"Turple?"
"Yeah. Is that like a cross between Turquoise..."
"No, Teal. Teal and Purple."
"Ah. Well, now I know."

"Why are you wearing a Maple Leafs jersey. That's like so Un-American."
"Yeah, it is very un-American. But I'm feeling kind of Canadian tonight, eh?"

"Is that a Swampee in that box?"
"No, Chad."
"Chad?"
"Yeah, Chad LaRose, he used to play for us."
"Wasn't he taller than that?"
"He was, but he shrunk going through the drier."

"The game against the Stingrays, I kept saying 'Who is that wearing #15, is that a new guy?'"
"Well, it's not like we've seen a lot of him lately, and he was only out there for one period."
"They should give the C to Ernie Hartlieb. As least we SEE more of him."

The rest of the pictures from last night's game between the Everblades and the Gladiators are available on Yahoo. I forgot to change the ASA until after after the start the first, so the better pictures are later in the game. I'd been out shooting the stadium....

Who knew Turple was a colour, I thought it was the name of a Motorcycle company...Turple Brothers. :D
Can hockey players actually shrink in the dryer, you would think they would have label them dryclean only or hang to dry.
I have no idea about the cleaning of a hockey player, but he suddenly went from being 5'10" to fitting into a little white box. Even worse, when I got him home, I found out he needed to be assembled.
I must be slipping. Not one person asked me which Canadian I wanted to feel... ::pout::pout::
