From a Rochester American Press Release:

The Rochester Americans blanked the San Antonio Rampage 1-0 tonight at the SBC Center. Goalie Michael Leighton stopped all 27 shots he faced and Chris Thorburn scored with just 1:04 to play to give the Amerks' a two-game split on their Texas road trip.

With the win, Rochester moved one point ahead of the Cleveland Barons and into fifth place in the North Division. The Amerks (21-20-1-1) now have 44 points and trail the Toronto Marlies by three points for the fourth and final playoff spot.
